WAHEED OLAGUNJU is the former Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Bank of Industry (BoI).

Prior to his appointment, he was the Executive Director, Small and Medium Enterprises.

Waheed joined Nigerian Industrial Development Bank (NIDB), the precursor institution to BOI in 1990 as a Senior Manager and rose to the position of Executive Director (Business Development).

He had earlier also acted as MD/CEO of Bank of Industry before he was reassigned the Executive Director (Small and Medium Enterprises).

Prior to his appointment as member of the Board of Directors of BOI, he served as the Company Secretary of the Bank for 15 years and concurrently as General Manager, Strategic Planning and Corporate Communications.

He was one of the architect and drivers of BOI’s outstanding turnaround and transformation into one of Africa’s best Development Finance Institution (DFI).

NNAMDI EZEIGBO is the Founder/CEO, SLOT Limited, one of Nigeria's biggest phones and gadget outlets.

Nnamdi started SLOT Limited a small space in Lagos-Ikeja computer village in 1998 as a sales and maintenance company for computers, computer accessories and other electronic gadgets.

With the advent of GSM in Nigeria, Nnamdi later pioneered GSM sales in Nigeria with more than 43 outlets across the country with huge employee. Today, SLOT has become a house hold name and one of the biggest phones and gadget sales company in Nigeria.

As part of his contribution to the development of the society, SLOT Systems Limited has trained about 20 teachers from the Lagos State Technical College on some cutting edge technologies required for present age Telecoms industry

Nnamdi has indeed secured a slot in the Nigerian technology industry, one wide enough to accommodate his rocketing ideas and advancements; while adding substantial value to the lives of Nigerians.

Nnamdi has received various awards and recognitions that include; Business Man of the Year, by Hall of Grace Awards, Nigerian Telecom Awards, Mobile Phone Dealer of the year, 17th City People Awards of Excellence, Best Mobile Phone Retailer, Global Leader of Integrity Merit Award, Distinguished SME partner Award by Fidelity Bank (2014); Nigerian Telecom Awards, Mobile Phone Dealer of the year (2012) and Nigerian National Integrity Award (2009)

Nnamdi holds a degree in computer science and an MBA from Lagos Business School. He is an alumnus the Harvard Business School.

BRENT OMDAHL serves as the Commercial Counselor to the U.S. Mission to Nigeria, where he manages the daily operation of the U.S. Department of Commerce office.

His primary role is to assist U.S. firms to grow their exports and investments to Nigeria and West Africa and advocate on behalf of U.S. firms to the Nigerian government. Prior to serving in Lagos Brent was the sub-Saharan Africa Deputy Regional Senior Commercial Officer in Johannesburg, South Africa and Acting Director of the Atlanta, Georgia U.S. Export Assistance Center.

BRENT also served as the Commercial Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi, Vietnam from 2007 - 2010 and in Manila, Philippines from 2004 - 2006. Brent is a Master’s graduate of The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and Brigham Young University.

Prior to government service, he worked for eleven years in the pharmaceutical and enterprise software industries and has experience as an entrepreneur and franchise investor.

ADENIKE OGUNLESI is the Founder/Chief Responsibility Officer of Ruff 'N' Tumble.

Ruff 'N' Tumble is an indigenous clothing company in Nigeria that specialises in children's clothing.

From a tiny shop with her and her mother as the main staff, Adenike turned Ruff 'n' Tumble into an instantly recognizable brand. She has built a reputation for being one of the best manufacturers of children's clothing in Nigeria and with distribution along the West African coast.

Adenike featured in the Africa Open for Business documentary and recognized as the Fate Foundation Model Entrepreneur in 2005.

She is a mentor to Junior Achievement of Nigeria and the Fate Foundation.

In her second year, as an undergraduate law student at the Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria, Adenike opted out of school unsure of what to do with her life. She then reluctantly accepted her mother's invitation to work in her women’s tailor shop. That experience helped her to discover whom she was and what she wanted to do.

She has been a Director of Lafarge Africa Plc.

DEVAKUMAR EDWIN is the Group Executive Director, Business Development for Dangote Industries Limited

Devakumar joined the Dangote Group when it was in the threshold of entering into manufacturing activities as a General Manager and quickly deployed his wealth of experience to promoting the group's growth. He served as the Group General Manager and later Executive Director (Projects).

D.V.G executed almost all the projects of the Group including the spinning mills and the textile processing factory, the packaging materials plant, the flour mills, the pasta plant, the cement terminals, the cement plants, the noodles plants, etc.

He was also the pioneer Managing Director/CEO of Obajana Cement Plc, the Executive Director (Industries and Projects) with the responsibility of supervising all the plants in the Group including the sugar refinery, cement terminal, salt plant, flour mills, pasta plant, packaging materials plant and textile mills.

He was also formerly the Group Managing Director & CEO, Dangote Cement PLC till he became the Group Executive Director.

D.V.G holds a Graduate and Masters Degree in Engineering from the Madras University in India and he is also a Chartered Engineer. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IITM, Holland.

SEGUN AJIBOLA is the President/Chairman of Council, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.

Segun is also a Professor of Economics and Dean, College of Postgraduate Studies, Caleb University Segun was previously MD Designate, East African Franchise, Executive Director, Regional Chief Executive and General Manager at different times in Intercontinental Bank PLC. He was also formerly a DGM at First Bank and an Assistant Vice President & Head of Credit, FCMB.

He is the current Chairman, Board of Directors of Bowen Micro Finance Bank Limited (owned by the Nigerian Baptist Convention) and former member, Board of Directors, Accion Microfinance Bank Limited

Segun holds a Ph.D in Economics, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, LLB Law, University of Lagos. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and a CEDR, UK Accredited Mediator.

He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and Institute of Credit Administration of Nigeria, 2008 and a Life Member of Nigeria Economic Society

ABHIK GUPTA is the Managing Director, East and West Africa Cluster, Nielsen.

Abhik currently serves as the head of Nielsen’s commercial operations in East and West Africa leading the teams responsible for all client engagement, strategy and operational execution across the East, West and Central African markets. He is based out of Lagos, Nigeria. With more than 25 years’ industry experience and 15 years with Nielsen, he brings a deep understanding of emerging marketplace dynamics across the consumer goods and retail industries.

Abhik has held numerous leadership positions within the company, most recently as the Commercial lead across Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan (MENAP) for Nielsen’s relationships with all Consumer Packaged Goods clients. Additionally, he led client service transformation and growth initiatives. Prior to Nielsen, Abhik has more than a decade’s experience in India gained in Marketing, Branding and Services leadership roles, across the services, media and consumer goods industries.

Abhik holds a Masters in Business Administration from India and is a Graduate in Economics. He is married with two teenage children. He is a passionate researcher and educator, dedicated to sharing his learning and experience at several management institutes in India and UAE.

HENRY EGBIKI is the Regional Managing Partner of Ernst & Young (EY) West Africa and the Chief executive of the Nigerian Firm. He is a Member of the African board of EY and Member of EY Global Practice Council.

Henry is the Senior Partner for EY audit clients and notable accounts such as Oando PLC, United Bank for Africa PLC, Ecobank PLC, Cooper Cameron Corporation Nigeria Ltd; British Airways among many others. He is also the Quality Assurance Partner on Business & Advisory assignments especially in Due diligence, Valuation, special and other reviews.

He has led a variety of engagements on several projects on statutory audits, special investigations, valuation, due diligence reviews and restructuring.

Henry has over 27 years in professional Service with extensive knowledge and experience on Assurance & Advisory Business Services, which is his primary area of responsibility.

Henry is a graduate of Accountancy and holds an MBA, International Business, Lagos State University. He has attended leadership courses in Harvard and Kellogg Business Schools and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA).

AYOTOMI ROTIMI is the Founder/CEO of Xclamations a fashion brand. The brand started as a home business making bespoke pieces for women with its signature linen fabrics.

Ayotomi had a three-year stint in banking before venturing out to explore the business of fashion by establishing Xclamations in 2002. As demand for its designs grew Xclamations opened its first factory in 2005; which led to the opening of its showroom in 2007 in Anthony village Lagos. The website/online store was launched subsequently.

UGO OKOYE is the founder of iConcepts and is responsible for the company’s overall vision, strategy and execution. With a background in consumer marketing within FMCG and telecoms industries, Ugo has been delivering interactive digital marketing and communication services since 2000.

His strong leadership, delivery focus and passion for helping brands go digital have resulted in him delivering many large scale mobile marketing campaigns.
